ULMA Packaging improves vacuum packaging through advanced line integration and centralized control
At ULMA Packaging, we are expanding our vacuum packaging integration capabilities by combining our FLOW-VAC® technology with SUPERVAC’s high-quality vacuum equipment and specialist expertise.
With the FV 35 and our LineController, we bring bag forming, vacuum packaging and line management together in a coordinated solution, offering centralized recipe management, real-time monitoring and production performance analysis.
What FLOW-VAC brings to your process
FLOW-VAC® provides high flexibility for different product lengths and automates shrink bag forming and loading, helping increase productivity and reduce labor requirements for bagging. Forming bags to fit the product helps reduce film consumption and simplify the film logistics, avoiding management of pre-made bag sizes.
Its bag-forming process also helps reduce seal contamination, enhancing seal integrity and reducing the risk of vacuum leakages in the finished pack
See what is happening across your line
ULMA’s Line Controller gives your production team a real-time view of operating status, active alarms, current recipes and production data from a single HMI control, which improves operator efficiency and productivity. Information is available for the complete line and for each machine, helping operators identify where an incident has occurred and assess its impact on production.
Manage product changes from one point
Recipes for ULMA and SUPERVAC equipment are managed centrally and linked to your product references or SKU codes. Each recipe brings together the relevant data and each machine sub-recipes, allowing the team to change line parameters from a single operating point and prepare production for the next SKU.
Understand where performance is being lost
With OEE Booster, production data becomes a basis for targeted improvement. Complete l-Line OEE analysis helps identify which equipment contributes most to OEE losses, while machine-level analysis shows details such as stop reasons and rejection counts collected directly from the equipment.
Automatically generated PDF reports make the information available for performance reviews, supporting traceability and the follow-up of improvement actions.
Access connected equipment centrally
Operators can also access the interfaces of each connected machines remotely via VNC from the central operating point. Together with monitoring and recipe management, this makes it easier to supervise and operate the different parts of the line.
One coordinated line project
The collaboration offers complete line supply through a single supplier and turnkey installation, with equipment, transfers and control functions defined around your production requirements.
